Two U-shaped bolts and four nuts - this looks like a combination of spare parts but looks are deceiving. This level 4 Hanayama puzzle comes with a deviously hidden trick. The key to unlocking these parts is to look carefully at each part first. Designed by Kyoo Wong, the theme for this puzzle is complexity.

Formed in 1972, Hanayama is a Japanese toy company best known for their series of cast metal puzzles which include reproductions of older designs, and new puzzles by designers Oskar van Diventer and Akio Yamamoto, to name just two.
