A very difficult Burr designed by American Peter Marineau and produced by Wil Strijbos’s Streetwise Puzzles.
This six-piece burr was designed before Bill Cutler finished his computer program to analyse all possible six piece burr combinations (started 1974 but not completed until August 1990) and is still to this day is the highest level unique solution burr known to have been designed without a computer.
This solid aluminium burr puzzle is precision made using a CNC mill, with absolutely stunning accuracy. Making each piece a joy to solve. To remove the first element, 10 moves in sequence are required. Wil Strijbos does not supply solutions with his puzzles. He really believes that you will get much more puzzling enjoyment if you don’t have ready access to the solution.
