Legionary Day Playing Cards

Legionary is a uniquely designed custom deck of playing cards that brings together two legendary worlds: the legionary soldier and the Roman gladiator. This deck depicts the complete legendary Roman legionary armour, as well as the sparse armour, inspired by Legionaries but pared down for individual combat.

Created by Jody Eklund, Legionary captures the legend of the Roman citizen, once conscripted into a Roman Legion, and now turned Gladiator. Upon the face cards you will find fierce and fearless faces of men and women who risked their own harm for the pleasure and entertainment of the Colosseum crowds.
