Flower Yosegi Secret Box

A secret box covered with a traditional parquet flower pattern, handmade in the Hakone mountains of Japan.

Yosegi Himitsubako (secret box) are measured using an old Japanese method of measurement called 'Sun'. One Sun is just over 3cm (3.09 to be precise), so this 3.5 Sun box is approximately 9.7cm. These measurements represent the width of the box.

This is a very simple box, with an internal size of just over 5cm. Making it perfect to use as a gift box.
