Green Glyphs Runes Deck

The Green Glyphs runes is a set of 33 cards featuring prismatic gold gilded edges. Housed inside a custom orange box with a 65 page guidebook and 4 runic dice that can be used in tandem with the cards or on their own. This deck is a version of the Elder Futhark Runes, an early Nordic system of divination that has been around for millennia. Typically, runes are found in the form of stones, dice, talismans, or other objects with carvings. When I first started to learn about runes, I found it difficult to relate the Nordic symbol to the meaning.

Each card has a runic symbol, the traditional name, and an image that encompasses the meaning behind the symbol. What is helpful with the Elder Futhark Runes is that the meanings are relatively simple. Each rune conveys a concept or feeling that was preva­lent thousands of years ago and still remains relevant today. The included dice provide an alternate way to draw runes in a reading.

In 2013 James made his first tarot deck, which would catapult him into the world of divination. A year later he opened his business, Prisma Visions, and in the years following created nearly a dozen divination tools. Currently, James runs an art studio in downtown Los Angeles with his team. The studio is a hub for various creatives as well as the flagship location of Prisma Visions.
