Mindanao Puzzle

Laser cut using black and white acrylic and designed by Rex Rossano Perez, the Mindanao (name after a group of Islands in his homeland, the Phillipines) is a sequential discovery puzzle, rather uniquely - what's needed to solve the puzzle are actually housed within. The aim here is to free the star and can be quite a challenge, even for experienced puzzlers. 

Mindanao is a pocket sized gem at 10cm. As with his other puzzles, the screws are definitely not part of the puzzle mechanism - the only function is to hold the puzzle together!
