A classic puzzle lock that should be part of any collection. An exceptional piece of craftmanship. The DanLock by Dan Feldman is admired as one of the world's most difficult and will give even hardener puzzlers a serious challenge.

This puzzle has various steps that are require completion in order to achieve the goal of returning the DanLock to it's original state: With the padlock closed and full key on the latch. Superbly made from brass in Israel by Dan Feldman, the DanLock weights approximately 300g.

VERY DISAPPOINTING - DO NOT RECOMMEND - VERY EASY TO SOLVE HENCE NOT WORTH THE PRICE!
Reading about the lock being a "classic" (perhaps it is) and seeing it was rated very hard on many sites, and despite being quite expensive, I was very very excited getting this as one of the first many puzzles to come. Unfortunately, it took about 5 min to "open" it and perhaps another 10 min to "assemble" it. It almost felt like I solved it accidentally, or that I had gotten a faulty example. Most of all, the puzzle was solved with a little bit of trial and error and overall required very little thinking. I was really looking forward for this being the first puzzle of many to come, but if this is what you get trying to get a really hard puzzle and paying quite a lot, I'm not sure if I want to buy another one.
(Note: this puzzle is listed on many sites being a hard one, so this review has nothing to do with JP Games, which I thought overall had a great service!)

My other half is a huge puzzle fan. Loves all the pricey stuff (sigh) and he instantly fell in love with it when he finally got his hands on one. The quality is obvious. He hasn't solved it yet, which is normally a good sign.

The BEST lock puzzle I've ever had the pleasure to play with. Different solutions for opening and for closing, looks and feels like a normal - high quality padlock. Very well designed and produced.

Not easy to solve. But immensely satisfying. Haven't got bored of playing with it - and it's frustrated and cheered up many friends!

If you love puzzles and can afford it, the ‘Danlock’ is a must have. Don’t cheat by looking at YouTube and the solution will amaze you. Extremely satisfying to solve.
