A lovely 10 step yosegi marquetry himitsubako puzzle box, with an extra secret space on the back of the box - which can be discovered after opening the main box with a further four moves.
The unusual design of this box is unique too and depicts the Japanese deities of wealth and fortune, Daikoku and Ebisu - the deity of fishing and commerce and the back panel is 福 which simply means happiness.
The additional 4 moves for the second hidden space is quite unusual, so even for those familiar with Japanese Puzzle boxes it may not be immediately noticed (it's quite small and can fit perhaps a note, letter or card)
