Seven Woods Puzzle Box

Handmade in Japan by Hiroyuki Oka. An apprentice with the experts in Hakone when he was younger, Hiroyuki has been working independently since 2003 and produces beautiful Himitsu Bako pieces of art 

Himitsu Bako (secret box) are measured using an old Japanese method of measurement called 'Sun'. One Sun is approximately 3cm, so 5 Sun would represent nearly 12cm. These measurements represent the width of the box.

This gorgeous box has been meticulously crafted from seven different woods and requires 12 steps to open.
