Helene Spinning Top

Handmade in the Austrian Alps.

The Helene spinning top by Mader is 48mm in diameter and handmade from a single piece premium Apple wood.

Each top features two rings which appear trapped on the stem, but are in fact solid all the way around. It takes real expertise to carve this from a single piece of wood.Spin the Helene and watch as the two hoops appear to move up and down the stem.

The Mader family business, owned and operated by Klaus and Margit Mader was founded in 1991 in Uustria. a small family business based in the Austrian alps. They specialise in quality wood products handcrafted in their workshop. Each of their spinning tops undergo nearly 20 different processes during production – turning, carving, painting and more - everything is done by hand. They source only local sustainable hardwood.
