Saaya Yosegi Puzzle Box

A secret puzzle box covered with a traditional saaya parquet pattern, handmade in the Hakone mountains of Japan. A medium size box with a long side of 15 cm and a generous interior space.

This box requires 35 steps to open, but is also popular with those who want to hide more secret things because there is a storage space in the lid part after opening the box.

Yosegi Himitsubako (secret box) are measured using an old Japanese method of measurement called 'Sun'.

One Sun is approximately 3cm, so 4 Sun would represent approximately 12cm. These measurements represent the width of the box.
