Expedition 33 Playing Cards: Obscur Edition

An officially licensed collaboration from UK based Dyenamik.

Some expeditions march toward the dawn. Others walk straight into the dark. The Obscur Edition takes the painted world of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 into shadow, the Gommage made beautiful.

It starts with the tuck box: deep matte black wrapped in gold-foil line work, all Art Deco geometry with a central Expedition 33 monogram in gold and "For those who come after" running down the spine.

Inside, the deck is fully custom. Every court card, ace and joker is an original illustration: Verso takes the Kings, appearing in a different outfit for each suit, while Maelle holds the Queens across the same four looks. The party fills the Jacks with Gustave, Monoco, Lune and Sciel; the Aces go to the Paintress, Renoir, the Siren and the Visages; and Esquie and Simon round things out as the Jokers.

The Obscur Edition and the Clair Edition share exactly the same characters. They are variants designed to be collected, so pick up the pair to hold both halves of Expedition 33 side by side.
