What magicians refer to as Aristocrats trace their history to the American Banknote Company. They only produced playing cards for a short period but were famous for their superbly intricate scrollwork. ABN was then sold to the Russell Card Co. (no relation to the Russell of Russell & Morgan). Production of the ABN cards continued at the Russell Co.'s Milltown, New Jersey plant and the Aristocrat line was introduced in approximately 1915 and in production until the early 1980s.
This Limited Edition version uses a different shade of black and gold on the backs and the face cards, whilst keeping that classically beautiful scrollwork design.
